CloudNOW is a non-profit consortium of the leading women in cloud computing, focused on using technology for the overall professional development of women from around the world by providing a forum for networking, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and economic growth.
CloudNOW offers members opportunities to creatively approach the technological challenges of cloud today, working in partnership with the tech industry, cloud visionaries, and global media. Forming a collective, together we are the voice of authority for women in cloud and emerging technologies.
Jocelyn DeGance Graham
Founder & President
Named by CRN as one of the 100 most influential women in IT, and by GetVOIP as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Women in Cloud, Jocelyn is the SVP of Market Development at 6fusion. Jocelyn is also the Founder of Cloud-NOW.org, a 501c3 non profit focused on championing women in tech. Jocelyn has deep expertise in business development, marketing, communications, and research, and has spent the majority of her career advising high potential technology start-ups (TechStars, Under the Radar winners) and Fortune 100 companies (Hewlett-Packard, Intuit, and Arthur Andersen/Accenture). She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, with an emphasis in Statistics & Research, and a Bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Barbara.
Bernard Golden is acknowledged as a Technology visionary with proven ability to accelerate market success for innovative software companies. Named by Wired.com as one of the ten most influential people in cloud computing. Author/co-author of of five books on open source, virtualization, and cloud computing. Lauren States is a Fellow with Harvard’s Advanced Leadership Initiative and a member of the 2015 Cohort. She also serves as an Executive-in-Residence for the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. Previously, Ms. States has held numerous executive positions at IBM Corporation.
Ms. States is a member of the Executive Leadership Council. She is on the Board of Trustees for International House, New York, on the Dean’s Executive Council for the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and is the Advisory Board Co-Chair for the Women In Technology Foundation B~STEM Project. She holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia University Business School Executive Education.
Ms. States was inducted into the Women in Technology International, Women in Science and Technology Hall of Fame in 2014. She received the Federal 100 Award in 2012 and was recognized at the Black Engineer of the Year Conference (BEYA) with the Pioneer Award in 2013. In March 2015, GetVoIP named her as one of the 25 Most Influential Women in Cloud.

Ms. Alvarez is currently a marketing executive at Amazon Web Services, and serves as Strategic Advisor to Alchemist Accelerator.

Recognized by Sys-Con Media’s Cloud Computing Journal as one of the Top 50 Most Prominent Cloud Bloggers, and the only female to make the list,Lori MacVittie is responsible for education and evangelism of application services available across F5’s entire product suite. Her role includes authorship of technical materials and participation in a number of community-based forums and industry standards organizations, among other efforts. She currently focuses on cloud computing, infrastructure, data center architecture, and security-related topics. MacVittie has extensive programming experience as an application architect, as well as network and systems development and administration expertise. Prior to joining F5, MacVittie was an award-winning Senior Technology Editor at Network Computing Magazine, where she conducted product research and evaluation focused on integration with application and network architectures, and authored articles on a variety of topics aimed at IT professionals. She holds a B.S. in Information and Computing Science from the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University.
